New Orleans Inspired Barbeque Shrimp

Ingredients
- ½ lb of Ocean Beauty 13/15 P&D Tail on Shrimp
- 2 Tbsp Olive oil
- ½ Shallot, diced
- 3 Cloves Garlic, diced
- ½ Cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- ½ Lemon, sliced into thin coins
- ½ Lemon, juiced
- 5 Sprigs Thyme
- ¼ Cup White Wine
- ½ Cup Chicken Stock
- 1 ½ Tbsp Heavy Cream
- 3 Tbsp Cold Unsalted Butter, sliced into pats
- Green Onions for garnish
- Rice, noodles, or toast points for serving.
New Orleans Inspired Barbeque Shrimp
- In a pot, heat oil over medium high heat.
- Sauté shallots and garlic until soft.
- Add pepper, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, Cajun seasoning, wine and chicken stock.
- Boil until reduced by half.
- Strain the sauce.
- Add the strained sauce back to your pan and bring to a boil.
- Add your shrimp and lemon slices to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes (until cooked through, 120 degrees F.)
- Add cream and swirl until combined. Reduce for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add sliced butter 1 slice at a time until mixed (keep moving constantly!)
- Serve over rice, noodles or with bread. Garnish with green onions.
