Ocean Beauty Launches New Products at the 2023 Seafood Expo North America
Today, Ocean Beauty Seafoods announced the new products the company will introduce to seafood buyers at Seafood Expo North America (SENA) in Boston March 12 – 14. They include new foodservice offerings for the company’s Echo Falls and Icy Point smoked seafood lines, and the new Ocean Beauty Grill House Burger, which is already winning awards.
Made with the freshest, wild-caught Alaska salmon and a blend of non-GMO vegetable proteins, the new Ocean Beauty Grill House Burger was created as a red meat alternative that tastes as good as it looks. It’s soy-free and offers a whopping 21 grams of protein and 835 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per serving, so it’s a guilt-free burger you can feel good about eating. And the awards are already coming in -- the Grill House Burger just won the Best Foodservice Product award at the 2023 Alaska Symphony of Seafood.
“We know there are many salmon burgers on the market, but ours is designed to satisfy your appetite like a beef burger with a great juicy texture and a delicious hearty flavor,” said Kevin Palmer, Ocean Beauty’s National Value-Added Sales Manager. “We think it is the best tasting fish burger on the market and can’t wait for our customers to try it.”
Ocean Beauty is also expanding its leading smoked salmon brands with a variety of cold- and hot-smoked offerings. Both the Echo Falls and Icy Point brands will feature pre-sliced, cold-smoked Atlantic salmon sides. Echo Falls oak smoked pre-sliced sides are made with sustainably sourced fresh Scottish salmon, and Icy Point brand features sustainably sourced Norwegian salmon. Both are cured using traditional recipes and smoked over oak chips.
In addition, the new Echo Falls hot-smoked Atlantic salmon products, which have gained in popularity in 6-ounce retail packs, are now being offered in foodservice packs. The unique flavors include Mexican Chili Lime, Northwest-style Honey Cure, and Southwest Santa Fe. Produced with sustainably sourced Atlantic salmon, they are smoked over oak to perfectly complement each flavor profile.
“Echo Falls is well known for its authentic recipes and transparent sourcing and our new products carry on this tradition,” said Ron Christianson, Ocean Beauty’s VP of Sales and Marketing. “These versatile new items fit well on menus across foodservice sectors, from catering to fast casual to fine dining.”
The new Echo Falls products join the extensive line of Echo Falls hot- and cold-smoked seafood offerings. Buyers can see the new products and the full line of Ocean Beauty, and Echo Falls products at booth 1205 at the show.
